wild about cheer

my little renee (her real name is rylee) is a competitive cheerleader for WAC (wild about cheer).. they are having their annual banquet and the theme is denim and diamonds.. i made all of the sweets with white and silver accents and gotta have cookies... those diamond ring cookies came in handy for this event also! the table looked so gorgeous!

Ty is 4!! YAY! My little cousin is celebrating his big 4th birthday with a bowling party. Kylie had several of these and they were so much fun. Kristi asked that I help her make his day even more special by personalizing it with some of my creations. I decided to use her rhyming talent on the cake. I made a chocolate cake with cream cheese icing for the bowling pin and the bowling ball cupcakes are white cake with cream cheese icing as well. Usually kids either lick the icing and dump the cake or scrape the icing and eat the cake. Not this bunch... they wanted seconds!

Christmas is here...

Christmas is all about the sweets! This time of year everyone is baking something. I did not make anything out of the ordinary, but everything tasted extrodinary. I had some help I must admit. Over the holidays my sister and brother were here and wanted to take part. We had a lot of fun. I wish my brother lived closer, I schooled him on the cake truffles and he is quick!
